Firstly, Welcome to MASDAC! Thank you for taking an interest in us! When visiting MASDAC for the first time, you can expect a warm welcome from our friendly and diverse community. Here’s a quick run-down on our Saturday worship service:
-
Dress Code: There is no strict dress code. Most people dress in smart casual or business casual attire, but feel free to come as you are.
-
Greeting and Guidance: Volunteers will greet you at the entrance, help you find seating, and answer any questions.
-
Sabbath School: For those interested, there are interactive Bible study sessions before the main service, including classes for all ages.
-
Worship Service: Our worship includes singing, prayer, and a Bible-based message relevant to daily life. Feel free to join in or observe as you’re comfortable.
-
Fellowship: After the service, we invite you to stay and enjoy light refreshments, where you can meet other members and feel part of the community.
-
Communion Service: If you visit us during our Communion day, here's what to expect: You’ll experience a special service focused on remembering Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. The service includes two parts: the Lord’s Supper (with bread and grape juice) and a foot-washing ceremony, symbolizing humility and service. Seventh-day Adventists practice open communion. All believers who claim Jesus is their Lord are welcome to take part in the service. More info about SDA's Communion Service.
We believe that financial giving is an act of worship, and we invite anyone who feels led to contribute to our ministry. However, there is no pressure to give. For those who wish to give, an offering box is located at the back of the room, and we also provide an online portal for eGiving. Tithes are directed to the Victorian Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, supporting its mission. At the same time, offerings and cash donations help fund our church’s various ministries, meet local resource needs, and support outreach efforts across Victoria, Australia, and beyond.
Quarterly Lessons ( also known as Sabbath School Lessons). There are currently a few groups, please ask us or our ushers on that day to direct you to respective classes.
- Adult Quarterly Lessons
- For university students and working professionals: Inverse Quarterly Lessons or Videos (YouTube)
- For High School Teens: Cornerstone Quarterly Lessons
We encourage all study the quarterly lesson in a week advance and then join us in an in depth Bible discussion.
